There are an abundance of “solutions” available to the overworked and overtired.
So, why Life After 7pm? Why did I create it? And why do we all need it?
The quick answers:
- Because this effective and intelligent program is the only one of its kind, influenced by years of clinical experience.
- Because making small adjustments can make all the difference.
- Because no one else is really talking about what we do after 7pm, and how fruitful that time can be.
- Because so many of us need real, radical lifestyle changes.
- Because it’s better living a life without regrets.
A few years ago, I read an article that went viral about a nurse who interviewed people on their deathbeds. Many told her that their biggest regret was working so hard. They wished they had felt more happiness, and stayed in touch with their friends. They wished they had had the courage to live a life true to themselves, not one based on what others expected of them.
This article was deeply impacting. For me, it affirmed that my fraught and frazzled life could continue on if I didn’t change it. It helped me realized that I could end up having these regrets. I don’t want that for myself. I don’t want that for anybody.
As an Acupuncturist specializing in sleep problems, I am reminded often of how important our evenings are for our sleep and our overall wellbeing. On a daily basis, my patients show me how we try so hard to stop working or thinking about work in the evenings, but we often fall so sorely short.
And it’s easy to understand why. I, myself, get overwhelmed at times, finishing up on paperwork, thinking about patients, and having to wear both “business” and “healer” hats, every single day. It’s all too easy to justify working late – “just to finish one more project,” “just to get a couple more emails done,” and so the stories go.
The thing is: it never stops.
There is always something else to do. If we don’t make the time to be mindful within each day, nothing will change, the time will fly by, and we could be like the interview subjects from that article – people with regrets, with deep fatigue, with sadness.
I created Life after 7pm to bring commonly shared aspirations for a “good life,” to reality. To do away with burn outs, energy crashes, sleepless nights, unsatisfying relationships, bad moods, unhappiness and unbalance.
Don’t put it off. Don’t think there’ll be time “later on.” With Life After 7pm, one day at a time for just 21 days, you can create a fuller, richer and healthier life.
